Bronze Whale – War Of Art EP

Bronze Whale are a duo hailing from Austin, TX whose genre spanning EP, War Of Art, just dropped via Octal Sound. Generally known for their remixes, Bronze Whale, initially were wary of the idea of an EP saying “The idea of an EP was a strange concept to us. In a music culture now where songs are created and released piece by piece, creating a body of music seemed counter-intuitive.”

After about a year of tinkering with their sound and enlisting vocalists like Khai and Jon Von Letscher, War Of Art was born. With elements of trap, drum and bass, and lots of indie flair courtesy of the vocalists and song writing, Bronze Whales signature sound becomes crystal clear with this body of work. “War Of Art is us following our own path. We’ve worked with four of the most amazing up and coming singers to create this EP. We produced, recorded, and mastered this EP ourselves. We created our own artwork and decided to feature paintings created by Jaques’ late father. This is our take on the war of art, and what we love so much about it.” Grab the single, Van Gogh, for free download and you can cop the rest of the EP on iTunes now.
