If you’re reading this, there’s a very good chance you weren’t even alive when Faithless began to release music.
The British electronic group famous for “God is a DJ” (yes, someone sang it before Pink) is celebrating 20 years in the industry. Though the band formerly called it quits in 2011, they still perform DJ sets and are heralded for being pioneers in the UK dance scene. Back in February, Faithless announced that they’d release a CD commemorating the anniversary with a headlining performance at England’s SW4 Festival as well as a remix album. Some of today’s most popular DJs like Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Eric Prydz, Avicii, and more will all be remixing some of the group’s hit songs in conjunction with a few new tracks from Faithless themselves. The album Faithless 2.0 officially comes out in September.
