Keith Bender has been on an absolute tear right now, as the New Jersey native is not only consistently delivering stellar release after stellar release under his Bender moniker, but has also teamed up with fellow New York producer, Hyperbits, to form the summer bass duo, The Rooftop Boys. As a solo artist, Bender’s music can only be characterized as deep and sexy, as his music has struck an impressive balance between the danceability of house music and the sultriness of 90s R&B. His latest effort, a remix of Lloyd & Lil Wayne’s “Girls Around the World” with fellow New Yorker, Paige, is the perfect example of Bender’s signature sound.
On the remix, Bender and Paige let Lloyd and Lil Wayne’s vocals take center stage, while layering together a big, whomping bass line with chopped and screwed vocal samples and subtle percussive accents. The remix is available as a free download, and you can get your copy here.
