Ever since I heard James Egbert’s debut album The Void last year, I knew this kid had something special. For a waning genre like electro, James was a breath of fresh air and I’m ecstatic to know that he’s kept that particular quality alive and well for his most recent release, “Underdog.”
Standing at ends with his own track title, James goes into a wild and energetic drop with a minimal melody behind it, preferring to focus on the raw power that electro can provide.
