We brought up Secret Solstice Festival just the other week for their use of a venue inside a glacier. You can read more about that “affordable” opportunity here.
Featuring the likes of Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Artwork, the Wu-Tang Clan, Skream & more, the lineup appears as carefully curated as the festival itself. The real story here, however, is that they are now selling the ultimate Icelandic festival experience for a whopping $200,000.
Valid for two people, which means the tickets are a “mere”$100,000 each, this is a festival experience that is truly fit for a king.
“Including first class return flights from anywhere on the planet for two people, a luxury five bedroom villa in Reykjavík for five nights, helicopter transfers almost everywhere including to a private experience at the famed Blue Lagoon, personal assistants, a private car service and driver on-call 24/7, private 100ft yacht party (including skeet shooting and golf), private chefs every night, lunch inside the magma chamber of a dormant volcano, aerial tours of Iceland, and more, this would have most globetrotting playboys salivating.”
Although ridiculous in nature, catering to the 1% with such an experience is a potentially super-profitable scheme – and it opens the door for the rich and royal to attend music festivals as they surely feel they deserve, with a ticket price that could support my livelihood for the next 5 years.
However, all this goes down on EDC Weekend (June 19-21) and it’s all still available. No one has purchased it.
