Two of the biggest names in house music joined forces over the weekend for a back to back set of grand proportions. 23 year old Alesso, who is fresh from his debut album release, Forever, jumped up on the decks with 19 year old Martin Garrix for an impromptu b2b set at Summerburst Gothenburg. They also just announced a collaboration together.
Although a full recording of the surprise, joint set has yet to be found, there are several videos of the two on stage together playing tracks from both artists’ extensive catalogs.
Alesso was visibly excited to share the stage with Garrix, who was listed as a solo performance for the festival, and tweeted about it after the fact expressing how much fun it was.
Count us equally jealous of this exclusive, once in a lifetime set, and excited for the melodic house anthem that comes out of a Garrix & Alesso collaboration.
