In spite of the fact that this style of music isn’t really my thing, I earnestly believe that Cazzette can do no wrong. Every time I’m sent a track of theirs, I love it unconditionally. It walks that thin line between formulaic and innovative so well that it amazes me. I bet that you could say, “Yeah, I know a dozen tracks that sound just like ‘Together'” but you wouldn’t be able to give me one – because, yeah, it does sound like a lot of other tracks, but it does it so much better.
“Together” is that fine line. The small saxophone interlude, deep house bassline, and vocal melody (albeit auto-tuned) among other things meld so well together to make the perfect little dish.
