Watch Dillon Francis Premiere New Moombah Track With Calvin Harris

Dillon Francis is one of the few artists that still genuinely makes fanboys out of us here at Your EDM. Each time a teaser or tweet is released revealing the potential of new tunes to come, we can’t help but fall back in love with his style all over again. After his latest album Money Sucks, Friends Rule was unveiled late last year, however, some of Dillon’s most seasoned fans recoiled in surprise at his apparent migration to a more house/pop-oriented sound. Even though tracks like “Set Me Free” and “Not Butter” made up for the others, the album as a whole demonstrated a completely new direction for Dillon and one that made a lot us yearn for the old days of IDGAFOS.

Back in March, Dillon settled our fears by taking to Instagram and revealing an entirely Moombahton EP set to release this summer. In the post, he announced collaborations with both Skrillex and Calvin Harris, surely only two of many. Then, in April, Calvin himself uploaded a creepy picture of Barney, the apparent mascot of the finished collab. Finally, Dillon took to Snapchat yesterday to give us the concrete confirmation we needed. Singles from the new EP are to be released in June and July, with the full album coming out in August.

Now, the hype continues as a video taken from his set at HARD Toronto has just surfaced showing the Calvin Harris collab in its entirety! Although it hasn’t been confirmed, the lyrics heard during the clip possibly point to the track being called “What’s Your Name?“. Take a peek below at Dillon’s climactic return to Moombah, and look out for more teasers to follow as festival season continues.
