Zedd‘s album True Colors has just earned him his very first No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart, passing Tiesto’s recently released Club Life Volume 4. The album has also placed fourth on the Billboard 200, the first time a producer has achieved such clout since Skrillex‘s album Recess in April of last year. Even though Zedd’s previous album Clarity topped out at the No. 2 spot on the same chart, True Colors has proven itself as his most well-received work to date.
His single with Selena Gomez “I Want You To Know” remains in the running on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart for its sixth week in a row, now hovering at the No. 5 spot. “Beautiful,” his most recent release with Jon Bellion, sits closely behind at No. 6.
Meanwhile, over at the Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs chart, David Guetta has secured his first No. 1 spot with “Hey Mama“. The track has now reached over 7 million streams following the release of its accompanying music video.
Finally, Duke Dumont‘s track “The Giver (Reprise)” rests comfortably on top of the Dance Club Songs list. This comes as his fourth No. 1 spot, with a previous placing in 2013 and two in 2014.
