Calvin Harris Officially Becomes The Richest DJ In The World, Dethrones Tiesto

Calvin Harris has apparently just passed his next milestone.

Three years ago, independent website Celebrity Networth put out a list of the Top 30 DJs in terms of net worth. At the time, Tiesto trounced Calvin Harris by a whopping $20 million.

But Forbes released their list of highest paid DJs last year, and noted that Calvin was significantly out-earning Tiesto by about $38 million per year compared to Calvin’s $66 million.

Since the last time they released their list, CNW has noted Calvin’s net worth has jumped from $70 million to $110 million in the same period of time that Tiesto’s has grown from $90 million to $105 million. In terms of rate of growth and total net worth, Calvin Harris easily has Tiesto beat.

Both DJs hold residencies at Hakkasan Night Club, the #2 grossing night club in the country. Both are reportedly paid $15 million per year for their residencies. CNW attributes the difference to the fact that Calvin Harris simply played more shows in 2014 than Tiesto, and had more radio hits.

Meanwhile, Avicii sits comfortable at #3 with $75 million. This is likely a consequence of health issues leading to fewer shows. The impending release of Stories and his return to the festival circuit will likely bode well for the Swede in the coming year.

Here are the top 15 producer/DJ net worths.

1. Calvin Harris – $110 Million
2. Tiesto – $105 Million
3. Avicii – $75 Million
4. Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo – $70 Million
5. Thomas Bangalter – $70 Million
6. Paul Oakenfold – $65 Million
7. David Guetta – $60 Million
8. Paul van Dyk – $60 Million
9. Armin Van Buuren – $55 Million
10. Steve Aoki – $55 Million
11. Deadmau5 – $53 Million
12. Afrojack – $50 Million
13. John Digweed – $48 Million
14. Kaskade – $43 Million
15. Judge Jules – $42 Million
