Diplo and DJ Snake have been very generous with their “Lean On” stems, as more and more remixes continue to pour out from every corner of the dance music pool. Looking at the sheer number of variations currently circulating the track lists, there’s no doubt we’ll be hearing the classic vocal hook played out live for many months to come. Leaving MØ‘s vocals mostly untouched, the duo creates a lively and energetic spin of the original with wailing synths and a thumping kick. After a short countdown and the first drop, the instrumental elements are removed, with just the vocals and a soft, rhythmic piano remaining. The track picks back up quickly and returns to its energetic, festival house nature in epic fashion to close.
