With Nero, you really never know what to expect. And in that way, I have accepted to expect anything from them – such as randomly receiving an email this morning with their new single “Dark Skies” from their forthcoming album Between II Worlds.
If you’ve seen a set of theirs in the past couple of years, it’s likely that you’ve heard them open their sets with this post-apocalyptic banger. Influences of French electro and dubstep are pervasive, creating an otherworldly tune that spans generations and genres. One thing is for sure, when you hear this live, it goes off.
