Deadmau5 has been on a roll lately with new content. We’re not quite sure what’s provoked this sudden outpouring of new content, but we’re not going to complain.
His most recent tune was a collaboration with Kaskade and Skylar Grey, a darkly melancholic tune with subdued vocals and a pervasive chord progression that only deadmau5 could have produced. In the time since then, he has already produced a “beneath 02”, reworking the rhythm and synths, fleshing out the tune and remolding it into a more French house vibe. The bouncy synth work and percussion definitely give the tune more body and a greater sense of completion – however, we still like the original a lot.
