Diplo’s “Revolution” Gets Another Set of Remixes

Is Diplo’s “Revolution” trap’s answer to “Latch” or “Faded?” It seems like everyone and their mom has had a take on the lead track from Diplo’s Revolution EP, that was released over a year and a half ago. In the second official remix package, Absence, Unlike Pluto, and one of Mad Decent’s fastest rising stars Party Favor put their own spin on it. Party Favor really brings something different with this remix, starting with a pitch modulation to bring Kai’s voice down a few octaves to make her almost unrecognizable. From there, the modifications only get better, with more emphasis on a piano melody enhanced with synths and a faster tempo than the original. Of all the remixes we’ve heard so far, Party Favor’s leads the pack without question.

The “Revolution” Part 2 Remix Package is out now on iTunes.
