Moody Good shocked the EDM community with his return last year and debut album Moody Good on OWSLA. It was so good, in fact, that I placed it at #7 on my Top 10 Albums list for 2014. His sound reinvigorated people’s love for bass music in a way that most people weren’t expecting; though they should have, considering he was once one half of the iconic duo 16bit.
Now with his second release, This Is The Investigation, Moody Good is releasing a free EP via NestHQ for their 50th release, and it’s good.
This 6-track experimental experience is worth multiple listens to really absorb everything that Moody Good has to offer. Beneath its brooding, dark and creepy exterior is an artist with a message, and the listener must dig to find it.
