The future trap sound is still one that’s being revolted against – in fact, the whole “future” tag to the beginning of genres doesn’t really sit well with a lot of people. But to hell with them, this tune is awesome.
Clayjay incorporates some really interesting sound design and tempo shifts in this tune, making it pretty difficult to get into at first. But as you familiarize yourself with the changes and shifts, I guarantee you’ll find it steadily growing on you.
The original mix is almost hypnotically chill, and Clayjay manages to keep a lot of that mellow nature while still keeping you interested. The chops are definitely a major factor in how the track plays, and it’s a smart decision.
