Stranger’s latest venture into the realm of bassline is a house lover’s wet dream. Featuring a juicy sample from Eddie Kendricks’ “Keep On Truckin,” it’s hard to believe “Feel Like” is Stranger’s first original track.
“Feel Like” employs cavernous wobbles and reverberating synths to fuel the dark and gritty vibe, heating up with some galloping percussion before diving head first into an aggressive low-end assault. Though Stranger’s Soundcloud only lists three tracks, the quality of this production points to a seasoned artist. Enjoy the gem of a track below, and grab it for free here.
Joining the ranks of Dr. Fresch, Ghastly, and Jauz, Stranger is spinning a fresh twist on the long lost genre of fidget music. Ushering the sound in exciting new directions, these heavy bassline/house burners have been absolutely gripping the scene as of late. With endorsement from AC Slater’s Night Bass camp, Stranger is already climbing the ranks of the bassline elite.
