Much like a pubescent teenage boy just discovering Disney channel in the late ’90s, I came a little early this week to announce the teaser of deadmau5’s collaboration with Grabbitz.
I’ve managed to successfully hold in my excitement this time as deadmau5 has (once again unexpectedly) dropped the full 7-minute collab. In keeping with the trend of while (1<2) veering away from the more label-friendly sounds on > album title goes here < and 4×4=12, “Blood For The Bloodgoat” (a working title we assume) is pure progressive house bliss that few producers can achieve. Vocals provided by Grabbitz accentuate the somber and slow progression, enveloping listeners in a beautiful cacophony of sound.
