For years I’ve been looking forward to this Entourage movie and it’s only just a few more weeks away. We already know dance music is going to play a big role in the movie, with Calvin Harris making a cameo in Vinny Chase’s (Adrian Grenier) first film as a director, where he also plays a DJ.
It should come as no surprise that a few superstar DJs would also make the cut for the film’s soundtrack out on June 2nd, which is pretty much a who’s who of music royalty. Harris himself doesn’t appear on the OST, oddly enough, but Diplo, DJ Snake and A-Trak do. Though don’t expect any tracks produced exclusively for Entourage; Diplo & DJ Snake’s “Drop” has been an unreleased collab since 2013 and A-Trak’s “Push” ft. Andrew Wyatt came out earlier this year. Still, it’s big to see these stars on the soundtrack alongside heavy hitters like Pharrell, Jane’s Addiction, and The National. Plus, you never know what other surprises and cameos are in store when it comes to Entourage, which is finally in theatres June 3.
