Zedd has been garnering more and more attention as we approach the release date of his sophomore album True Colors, but some of it is supposedly undesired. His recent courtship of pop-star Selena Gomez has not only drastically improved his standing on social media outlets like Instagram, but has also lead to a rise in press concerning their personal lives.
“I don’t think I’ve ever been in the press in my life for anything but my music, and I’ve appreciated that a lot,” says Zedd. “And I’ve never had any scandals and I’ve never done anything bad, and everyone only talked about my music. I liked that — that’s how I want it to be. And then, out of nowhere, suddenly people started talking about things that had nothing to do with my music. I was like, ‘Wait — we’ve got a song. Why don’t you talk about that song?’ It took me a really long time to do this.”
Zedd goes on to clarify that we will not talk about his personal life in public, especially concerning his relationship with Gomez. However he also has revealed that this isn’t the last song from Zeddlena – “‘I Want You To Know’ was the first one. We recorded a couple more songs that we haven’t finished yet.”
