An email hit my inbox the other day from a duo who wanted to remain anonymous. I was told that they were starting a new project and was then sent a link to their first release. There have been a number of remixes to Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again”, but the one done by the newly formed Miles Away is one of the best.
A powerful piano stands as the backbone of the track. The atmosphere is light and easy-going. There is a catchy tropical melody that carries the song from the build and into the drop. The production quality throughout is also great. Overall, it is a well-rounded and addicting song.
With this being the first release by the mysterious duo, they have set the bar high for themselves going forward.
