Although there have been several recent in-browser creations for casual music production, the newest addition has included a unique feature that truly makes it stand out from the rest. The Typedrummer is a drum machine emulator that outputs patterns based on the specific order of letters that you type out. By typing single letters, words, or even long sentences, you’ll be able to hear corresponding drum sequences that are only limited to your own creativity. By hitting the space bar, a pause in the sequence will occur, allowing you to take full control over the rhythm. Once you have a beat that you’re satisfied with, you can save it and create a custom link to send to your friends.
Test out the Typedrummer, and check out some already made beats here and here to get some inspiration.
