UK duo DC Breaks has been absolutely slaying the drum & bass game this year. Their Eelke Kleijn remix is incredible, and I still haven’t been able to go a day without listening to their single “Faithless”. I thought my excitement for their debut album had hit the ceiling, and their latest release has officially pushed it through the roof.
Their new single, titled “If This Is Love”, is full of soul and upbeat summery vibes. The emotional vocals flow atop a groovy bassline, accentuated by clean percussion and funky guitar riffs. The catchy melody is peppered with subtle pleasing details. This song has grown on me more with each listen, and leaves me itching to hear the diversity of the upcoming album’s additional tracks.
