Alina Baraz & Galimatias have been making huge waves recently as people clamor for their collaborative Urban Flora EP out May 19th. The quaint production and indomitable vocals present a brilliant combination and everyone has been eagerly awaiting the full release.
In the meantime, producers abound who want to remix their material. Pomo decided to remix “Fantasy,” turning the downtempo and slow, creeping, emotional tune into a more disco-influenced dance rhythm. Adding a few kicks here, a tambourine there, etc. gives the remix a more rounded sound; and the synth strings are also really great for adding that 70s/80s era sound. Just as with the original, the vocals of Alina Baraz are seemingly untouched.
