Zomboy is undoubtedly one of the stars of the bass music world. His shows are absolutely incredible, and everyone that’s keeping up should know of his Game Time and The Dead Symphonic EPs, the latter of which spawned the anthem, “Nuclear (Hands Up).”
“Nuclear” was rewritten and re-released for Zomboy’s debut album The Outbreak in 2014 (I personally prefer the EP version, but that’s neither here nor there), and as we prepare to welcome the Resurrected LP, a collection of remixes from the album, we stand witness to the first to “come back from the dead.”
Dillon Francis hits the ground running with his remix of “Nuclear,” blending in all different styles for the club ready hit. Even Billboard couldn’t really narrow it down to a single genre:
Commencing with carefree dub reggae chords and pitched down hand-raising entreaties, his remix builds to a blistering electro synth drop that recalls his most dynamic moombahton material.
That’s essentially just a way to say, “We don’t know what the f*ck it is, but we know we like it.”
The same for us – we don’t really care what it is, but we like it.
Fans who pre-order Zomboy’s Resurrected from today will receive Dillon Francis’s “Nuclear” remix as an instant download.
