The months between a debut ID and the big reveal can be treacherous (I’m looking at you, Eric Prydz). Thankfully, Ilan Bluestone has finally put us out of our misery with an ID from his ABGT 100 set this past October. Cleverly named “43” after the timestamp when he dropped the track, this latest track from Ilan Bluestone has that epic build-up he’s known for like in his previous tunes “Tension” or “Lighthouse.” As the anticipation builds from nothing, Ilan does well to bring the piece together during the anticipation, carefully adding layer upon layer or synths before giving way to a heavy trance chord progression. While “43” isn’t on the same barn-burning level as “Under My Skin” or “Big Ben,” it showcases Ilan Bluestone’s level of consistency, and has the fans excited to see what else he has up sleeve as he mixes the Anjunabeat Worldwide 05 compilation this year.
