Zedd has been taking a different approach for premiering new music off his next album True Colors. Instead of social media announcements, the German producer has done things like taking fans for a hot air balloon ride and partying at Alcatraz. The campaign is 10 events in total, with a new color themed party in every location. The first 50 fans to complete Zedd’s scavenger hunt get escorted to a secret location to participate in an intimate event that ends in a debut of his next track from True Colors.
Zedd rented out the entire Stanley Hotel, inspiration for Stephen King’s The Shining, for ghost tours, specialty cocktails and tarot card readings, which ended in the premiere of his latest single “Illusion” featuring Echosmith.
