Spanish tech house/techno mainstay Dosem has been a busy little bee lately. Having just wrapped up a world tour for his last album City Cuts, he debuted his official remix of Benny Benassi’s track “I Wanna Be Disco” last week and this week released his brand new EP Presence on Toolroom Records. Having built a reputation for consistently solid releases, Dosem does not disappoint with this two track EP, starting off with “Presence,” a groovy, brassy toned tech house track with a touch of disco inspiration. The second track, “Next Room,” combines bright synths with fast paced hi hats, a clap beat and a wobbly bassline, leading to a breakbeat heavy breakdown reminiscent of Moby’s classic “Bodyrock.”
