I wrote about Slow Knights almost two months ago for their track “Just Kiss,” a superbly indie dance track with more traditional musical elements than dance to it. They’ve released another track, “Candy Sugar Rush,” but I felt that it wasn’t really the right fit for our readers. One of the official remixes by Louis La Roche is absolutely perfect, however, as it blends the original indie dance sound with a phenomenal nu-disco flair.
The ’70s Donna Summer-esque vocals fit in perfectly with the nu-disco aesthetic that Louis La Roche brings to the table, transforming the original R&B, vocal-driven tune into a disco heater.
