ANGELZ – Dolla Bill

As he does so often and so effortlessly, ANGELZ has once again retooled some classic hip hop to create a G-House work of art. This time around he hails the Wu-Tang Clan from the Slums of Shaolin, crashing them in the middle of an emphatic bassline on “Dolla Bill”, which uses parts of the Wu classic “C.R.E.A.M.” The ominous intro vocals remain from the original, providing a dark overtone to snapping snares and a flowing bounce. Fresh off providing us an excellent G-House edit to Lupe Fiasco’s “Daydreamin” last month, “Dolla Bill” shows ANGELZ is only picking up steam heading into the summer.
