A little breaky, a little future, and a whole lot of get up and wiggle make up the recipe for Loge21’s newest release, “Get Down.”
“Get Down” kicks off with an uptempo house beat, at times borrowing both trap and breakbeat elements. Featuring an infectious melody of industrious space lasers, the chorus sounds like it could be the anthem for an extraterrestrial warehouse party. Loge21 doesn’t clutter frequencies, instead opting to focus on well arranged instruments to keep it stylishly airy. Future house can get a bit tiresome with the wealth of attention it’s received, but this is a fun record that keeps the sound interesting.
The French duo is consistently turning heads with their take on the ever morphing future house genre. Backed by both Cr2 and Black Butter Records, Loge21 has amassed a number of dance floor burners under their belts, and they aren’t showing any signs of slowing.
