One of New York’s finest electronic music culture & arts festivals, Mysteryland USA, just got a little more tasteful, in terms of food, for its 2015 edition happening over Memorial Day Weekend, May 22-25. If their world-class music programming, stunning stage production, art, communal feel, and outstanding accommodations weren’t enough, you now have an extra cherry on top with their food lineup, including the return of theSmorgasburg Food Fest, appropriately dubbed “The Woodstock of Eating,” by the New York Times, that features some of the most delicious dishes and treats from local New York favorites.
Introduced to the Holy Grounds in 2015, Mysteryland’s campgrounds, food vendors from far and wide will be offering their best options, including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free fare, for twenty-four hours a day at Plaza Central – called Eats ‘N Beats. Refuel before a long day at Mysteryland with delicious breakfast options with local vendors like BearClaw Coffee or take a break with an ice cold treat courtesy of Taste of Brazil Acai.
By bringing their “think local, act global” mentality into many aspects of the festival, Mysteryland USA creates an environment and experience that’s unique to the region of the festival to not only cater to the locals, but also to immerse those traveling from abroad in the culture of the North East.
