You already know that Calvin Harris is the wealthiest DJ in the world. With residencies at top clubs like Hakkassan in Las Vegas, and sponsorship deals like Emporio Armani, he’s surpassed names like Tiesto and Afrojack for the top spot. His growing empire has finally put him in elite company; Britain’s Sunday’s Times reported that Harris is worth £70 million ($105 million). While the figure is impressive, his debut on the Times’ Rich List of musicians only put him at #30. Many legendary rockers like Pete Townsend from The Who and Dire Straits’ Mark Knopfer match that, and list topper Paul McCartney is worth more than ten times Harris at £730 million ($1.1 billion). Still, it’s an impressive feat to even be on a list such as that, especially since Calvin Harris is only 31 years old. And judging by the growth rate of EDM, there’s definitely plenty of time for Harris to move up the ranks before next year.
