Those who get to attach their name to Tiësto, or even his label Musical Freedom, are bound to make headlines. Likewise, anyone who gets on board with Martin Garrix is sure to rocket into the spotlight. When you put those two together, it’s a wonder how the world doesn’t explode. The two have set the blogosphere ablaze with their new collab, ‘The Only Way is Up’, and there’s sure to be a stacked host of producers ready to remix this sure-fire hit. Looks like somebody didn’t want to wait for the release though, and has gone and produced one of its first bootlegs. That somebody is Dekagram.
A fresh face to the scene, Dekagram is an ATL-based progressive house addict on a mission to have pure euphoria pumping out of your headphones. He’s got a number of powerful remixes under his belt, most notably a hair-raising Alesso ‘Cool’ remix, but this bootleg feels like an honest to goodness breakout track. Everything from the original has been beefed up, and the result is a track with higher energy levels and visceral intensity. It’s a freebie as well, so there’s no reason not to grab yourself a copy.
