Weekend One had a good dose of guest appearances – the biggest of which was probably Madonna during Drake’s set, which set the internet ablaze.
Weekend Two would have to one-up the previous weekend in a major way for attendees lucky enough (rich enough?) to attend both weekends or those who read about the appearances the previous weekend. Fortunately, The Weeknd delivered. Out on stage popped Kanye West with performances of “Can’t Tell Me Nothing”, “Black Skinhead”, “Don’t Like (Remix)”, and “All Day”.
But that wasn’t all that Kanye was up to, oh no. The previous day he dropped by a Bromance Records party in Indio where Ryan Hemsworth was a special guest. Kanye dropped by unexpectedly and Ryan dipped out from, maybe, stage fright. To be fair, any young producer that gets interrupted by Kanye West would be noticeably shaken.
