As much as I love dance music in its current form, I earnestly believe that there was never a greater dance music than disco. The tempo, the rhythm, the sounds, it all just coalesced so perfectly into this natural rhythm that got people moving and grooving in the streets and clubs. Modern variations like nu-disco have done a lot to bring back that original vibe, but Insan3Lik3 has definitely hit the nail on the head with this latest release.
Insan3Lik3 teamed up with J-Hype for a little DY-NO-MITE in “TNT.” The synth work is heavily reminiscent of disco era work, as are the vocals. It’s oddly minimal, while making excellent use of the synths that are present. It’s a quaint and very enjoyable track. Give it a listen below.
