Porter Robinson Throws Surprise Show In LA

flyer

Porter Robinson joined the likes of Mat Zo, The M Machine, Madeux & Matt Lange for a surprise show in a Los Angeles venue that hits capacity at around a hundred people last night.

The venue, Fais Do Do, had the help of Slush Management and Versus, a local promotional company, in throwing this intimate event. With their biggest lineup yet spread primarily through word-of-mouth and the secretive event flyer below, this happening speaks wonders to all of the performing artists’ personas, as they surely didn’t receive their normally allotted pay for such a small performance (which we’re sure Tiesto would frown upon).

Those in attendance can thank the gods of dance music for the opportunity, as the stars aligned miraculously for this special performance due primarily to ulterior, coinciding events. Porter happened to be in town for Coachella, Mat Zo dipped on his LA residency, and The M Machine was local for their tour with french super-star Madeon. Slush and Versus just so happened to connect the dots in the best way possible, and our only regret is not being in attendance for this very special show.

If you weren’t fortunate enough to go last night, check out Porter Robinson’s newest release, a remix of NERO‘s “The Thrill” which premiered at Coachella weekend one. It will help illustrate just how feel-heavy the atmosphere in Fais Do Do must have been last night.
