Louis Futon has just unleashed an exceedingly tasteful remix to Phony Ppl’s ‘End Of The Night’. Opening with a nostalgic string section, the remix invigorates the original with an energetic boost in tempo before dropping into a swelling funk track.
Louis Futon has added elements sparingly and sharpened ‘End Of The Night’ with a pounding bass-line which wonderfully supports the piano and brass. The vocals (which are a definite highlight of the track) are given plenty of room to cut through, and the outro fades smoothly back into the airwaves. Permeating the entire mix is a squeaky clean feeling that smells of aftershave and offers up a classy toast to a different era.
