In a special Thursday episode, Above & Beyond announced where their landmark 600th episode of their radio show will take place. After 450 episodes of Trance Around the World, the legendary London trio rebranded the series to Above & Beyond Group Therapy (ABGT) in a massive celebration in Bangalore, India back in 2013. Each location chosen has a different meaning for both the group and music in general. For ABGT 050, they celebrated at home at Alexandra Palace, a famous broadcasting hall in London. ABGT 100 took place in Madison Square Garden, where they were the first British DJs to ever perform at the sold out arena. This year’s celebration will take place in Sydney, Australia on Saturday, September 26 as the country is the first place Above & Beyond toured outside of the UK.
Each ABGT celebration is a worldwide event, as the 6-hour show is not only broadcasted live, but features some of Anjunabeats’ brightest stars. The lineup hasn’t been officially announced yet, but with past acts like Andrew Bayer, Mat Zo, and Arty, ABGT 150 is sure to be another monumental party.
