Jae Yoon, the New Yorker also known as Visionaire, was thrust into music at a very early age. He learned how to play a slew of different instruments before dabbling in producing as a teenager. Visionaire started out creating hip-hop beats on Garageband (as we all have at some point) and later fell in love with electro house and big room.
His new Dynasty EP, out yesterday on Crime Kitchen, is prime for the main stage and just in time for festival season. In addition to his previously released hard hitting electro house tune “Dynasty” and fierce trap track “Eternity”, the EP includes 2 new tracks titled “Knight” and “Monarch”. “Knight” starts out with an intense intro and gripping melody, gradually building up into a heavy electro-house big room drop. “Monarch” starts off with a dark and gritty intro that segues into a trap drop peppered with high-pitched synths and subtle sexy vocal samples atop heavy beats.
Grab the EP now on Beatport or iTunes, and keep your eye out for Visionaire and his energetic, festival ready style.
