For his third release Gorilla Bass offers up a bangin’ festival trap remix of Chedda Da Connect’s hood anthem “Flicka Da Wrist”. With a driving synth lead and a big-room style drop this track is made for the fields of your favorite festival. Chedda Da Connect’s voice is very distinguishable and it makes the lyrics of this trap banger something you won’t be able to get out of your head. His voice coupled with the dynamic EDM trap melodies Gorilla Bass infused into the track ensure this song is going to be played throughout the summer.
This isn’t the first huge trap remix we’ve seen from the mysterious Chicago producer. His remix of RL Grime’s “Kingpin” is also stellar. He somehow made the bass hit harder than the original while intertwining a gritty moombahton groove that turns that melody into an even bigger dance floor destroyer. It is a must-hear.
The other notable track on his SoundCloud is his venture away from trap music and more towards the underground. Putting his own flip on Tiga’s “Bugatti” produced a brilliant more-up-tempo, upbeat, super groovy version of the dark techno classic. He easily made this underground favorite much more danceable and likable.
Check out all three of these great remixes available for free download below and be sure to give him a follow on SoundCloud. Gorilla Bass is someone you want to keep your eye on.
