Out Now: Michael Woods “Slice of Life”

Michael Woods clearly enjoys the finer things. First, he started 2015 with “Tequila Nights.” Now, he’s delivered “Slice of Life.” His newest tune is exactly what you think it references…pizza, but don’t be mistaken as this track is not a cheesy club tune. The track is basic in the sense that it’s not busy; Woods does well to keep the amount of layers minimal instead of using too many samples, drums, and other sounds that can sometimes overpower a track. This helps to make the melody incredibly memorable as well as diverse. “Slice of Life” is a great tune for a crowded club night, or for when you just need something to jam to while you wait for Domino’s to arrive. “Slice of Life” is currently available on Beatport courtesy of Armada Music.
