Snails – King Is Back (feat. Big Ali) [Kannibalen Records]

If you haven’t yet heard of Snails, well, I would imagine that you’re entirely removed from the bass music scene and you opened this article hoping for a new escargot recipe. Sorry to disappoint, but this type of Snails will only make you vomit (in a good way!).

With releases on Skrillex‘s OWSLA and his home Kannibalen Records, Snails has been leaving a trail of slime and grime in music since 2012. The Montreal native, who is currently wrapping up a tour in the USA this month, has a distinct style of dirty bass-vomitstep that makes him stand out in  today’s competitive industry. While continually gaining notoriety since sliding onto the scene, 2015 is proving to be the year for Snails. He recently released collaborations with both Big Gigantic and Jack U, just surpassed 100k followers on Facebook, and shocked Miami as Ultra Music Festival‘s Surprise Guest Set last weekend.

Today Snails continues to make waves in bass with his new release King Is Back featuring Big Ali out on “Kannibalen Records.”  King Is Back, which is filled with elements of trap, hip hop, and dubstep, never loses that iconic, dirty, hybrid style and appeal of Snails. It has already proved itself as a fan favorite in live settings, so check it out below, and grab it here to show your support.
