Originally known for his upbeat, melody driven tracks, Steve James decided to take a different route in his latest release, a remix of Oh Wonder’s “All We Do”.
After the dark, gritty intro, the song opens up and becomes something beautiful. A sedated piano highlights the vocals, with a powerful bass bringing a fullness to the track. A light melody is then introduced in the build. The progressive drop provides a nice juxtaposition against the start of the song, with it going from a dark to a light tone. This is one of Steve’s most emotional tracks and it demonstrates his progression as an artist.
