While we’re all desperately waiting for James Blake’s third studio album, we’ve got something else to keep us busy in the meantime.
Cazzette have dropped a free bootleg to one of Blake’s biggest songs, “Limit To Your Love.” The original track, known for its blisteringly sultry vocals and deep-as-the-Marianas-Trench bassline, is molded into an incredibly uplifting heaven trap remix. The piano and vocals are fully intact for the build, adding a great deal of nostalgia for listeners and fans. At the drop, the 808s and kicks come in and show a completely different side to the track that’s never been heard before.
The echoed vocals and horns add another layer of flavor, while the trap tempo allows for a greater deal of danceability and groove. I really only wish it was longer.
