Ladies On Deck: Eli & Fur

This London duo are the real deal; their talents as both vocalists and producers earned them two tracks on Anjunadeep 06 this summer. Their hypnotic tunes have received support from Rudimental, Jimmy Edgar, and the duo even appeared on Boiler Room TV this year. Between bouncy club tracks like "Feel the Fire" and the super sensual "Turn the Lights Down," Eli & Fur are two deep house queens ready to ascend to the throne.

It’s one for the money and two for the techno with today’s featured DJs, the London based duo Eli & Fur. When the best friends met in school at the age of 16, Jennifer and Eliza instantly bonded over their love of music and eventually started DJing house parties around London. With a passion and a drive to make a name for themselves, the duo hit the scene in 2012 acting as their own agent and management and even started their own label, NYX, to release their material and eventually launch a club night showcasing up and coming talent.

Drawing inspiration from their love of techno, acid, garage, and old school Chicago house, the pair developed a distinct wavy, hypnotic, bass-kissed techno sound characterized with soft vocals. Their debut track “You’re So High,” instantly put them on the map in 2013, reaching the top 3 on Hype Machine and would go on to be featured in DJ sets by Tiesto, Arty, and Jody Wisternoff.  Following the success of “You’re So High,” the duo would see future tracks released by major labels including Anjunadeep, Toolroom, and Defected, which released “Seeing Is Believing,” their collaboration with Shadow Child. Gaining a reputation for deep, moody, captivating sets, Eli & Fur has played alongside the likes of Maceo Plex and Scuba and featured on the lineups of major festivals including Creamfields and Glastonbury.
