Live streaming festivals has been gaining momentum for the past couple of years, but it would appear that it’s reaching a crescendo this sesason. After a successful broadcast of Ultra Music Festival exclusively on Twitch, Coachella has followed suit with plans of their own.
Announced yesterday via Coachella’s social channels, the live stream will be in partnership with T-Mobile. The live stream will be broadcasting April 10th, 11th and 12th of this year and promises to be a “interactive” experience. The live stream campaign will focus on using the #CoachellaLive tag to promote and keep up to date with everything that is happening at this year’s Coachella.
Last week #UltraLive was trending worldwide, we can only hope that Coachella can live up to that same caliber.
