It’s been an impressive month of Fresh Face Friday featuring tracks of all genres and styles. From the fan favorites of House to Dubstep, we’ve also went outside the norm to touch on Trap to Trance and everything in between. With that being said, these three lads featured below have won their individual weekly rounds and have now arrived at the Monthly phase where they will go up against one another to determine who will move on to the Quarterly round which happens next week.

Marky McFly – Bounce With Me
Ten years of consistent dedication to creating music of multiple genres and also DJing at many of Tucson’s nightclubs (Zenrock, Sapphire(h2O),The Rock, Maloneys, Mr.Heads, DV8), Marky McFly continues to have fun with music and those around him and enjoys performing for crowds. A highlight achievement for McFly was performing at Tucson, AZ prestigious Rialto Theatre.”Its always been a goal for me, to grow as a local musician/DJ and I’m very grateful to have been on the stage where thousands of other great artists have been,” he says. Doing his best to develop his craft and after creating hundreds of beats over the years Marky McFly has reached a point.
“I feel it’s time, to truly share my music with the world, it’s been a long time, and I’ve appreciated every single moment of it, spending thousands, literally, thousands of nights learning how to be a beat maker and how to put together songs and recording artists, and studying alot of genres inside out, learning to appreciate the art of DJing and being in front of the crowds without fear and just getting wild with them. Marky McFly is ready to release Original Music along with several remixes and is set to release his first official EP later this year. Be on the lookout for all new Marky McFly material! !QUIET! is influenced by Electronic & Hip-Hop music. From Upstate New York, !QUIET! is blurring the lines between the two styles & promises to deliver nothing conventional. Combined with modern sounds of EDM and a dedicated vocalist – well thought out lyrics are to be expected.

Some Dude – Fuji
Some Dude, aka Stephen Cowan, has shot to fame in the last few years. After his appearances on Nickelodeons hit show “Victorious” and the release of his debut album “Yours Truly,” Stephen has become a… Oh wait, never mind that was Ariana Grande. Stephen leads a much simpler life than that. Born and raised in Kansas City, Stephen began producing at 17 because he realized he knew absolutely nothing about music. (Switching from third to first person now) I have always been really focused in mathematics and physics but once I started understanding music I began to see that math and music are essentially two languages attempting to express the same idea. Nature is an endless process of building up and breaking down. This cycle applies to everything, concrete or abstract. The only constant is change, so just flow wiffit!
