In case you didn’t know it’s April Fools day today and with that comes a slew of ridiculous announcements, discoveries and product reveals, but rarely will artists actually take the time to create something worth reading or listening to to celebrate the occasion. Of course deadmau5 isn’t like everyone else and decided to respond to one publication’s attempt at pranking its readers in the best way possible. Uploaded just an hour ago, Joel Zimmerman decided to showcase his “new sound” with a short 56 second sample of “Weekend at meowingtons.” The genre is meowingtonsStep and honestly, for something that was made in probably a couple hours, it’s actually rather enjoyable.
