Rain Man made waves this past week playing at Buygore’s Pool Party in Miami, and on livestream before that. His first new original tune “Visionary” similarly made waves, showcasing a new direction in production that contrasts heavily with his past work in Krewella.
Releasing on Buygore definitely comes with a bit of a stereotype. Calling itself home to artists such as Styles & Complete, Ookay, and Crichy Crich, the label has a penchant for booty shaking bass music. It might not come as such a surprise then that Rain Man’s first public solo mix relies heavily on the trap and twerk sound. Fear not though, there’s still plenty of bass to go around – bouncing around from moombah, dubstep, and even just a bit of DnB. However, still no Krewella to be found on the mix.
